Well, I guess blogging can save you time...in circumstances such as needing to get your Christmas cards sent out soon, this seemed to be the easiest way to get our letter written for the 2008 year.
So I'm starting to believe everyone who has ever told me that life just gets busier!! We had our oldest son, Logan, start 1st grade this year. He also played T-ball and soccer for the 1st time and lost his 1st tooth! He started playing the piano and loves to play outside in the snow. We enjoy listening to him sing the songs he learns in school.
Taylor was thrilled to officially start preschool. She is in her 4th year of dance and just won a Christmas coloring contest at a local bank. Of course she loves to dress-up, act like a princess, and play "house". She also has a love for coloring and crafts.
Addie...well, let's just say she is 2 years old. Yep, you guessed it...the independence level is strong and she is "testing the waters" to see what she can get away with. Our favorite thing about Addie is that she loves to tease and be teased. She will still snuggle occasionally and is just a fun little Spirit!
If you scroll down on this blog, you will see that Nicole has been busy making hair bows. She continues to serve as the nursery leader and enjoys the children in there. She had a busy Fall of harvesting and canning pumpkins, apples, peaches, pears, etc. and has become a taxi, always running the kids somewhere. Another new hobby has been her blog so now the grandparents never have to ask for pictures to be e-mailed again!
Mike has been busy with his painting. He has been commissioned to paint 4 large pieces to be displayed in the Wort Hotel in Jackson Hole, WY. He also had a busy Fall hunting for deer and pheasants and cutting down firewood. He continues to serve as the Young Men's President at church, and his favorite hobby is still wrestling with the kids after dinner!
We wish you all a wonderful Holiday Season!!
With Love,
Mike, Nicole, Logan, Taylor, & Addie
